Reading a size
In 285/40R22, 285 is the nominal section width in millimetres, 40 is the sidewall aspect ratio and 22 is the wheel diameter in inches. Load and speed ratings are separate and equally important.
A match requires more
Same size does not mean same specification. Confirm homologation, axle pairing, run-flat / XL construction, load and speed ratings. Pressures must follow the vehicle placard and load conditions.
